Beautiful dining table armchairs, model Poly-Z in rosewood.
Designed by the Dutch designer Abraham A. Patijn (1922-1985) in the 1950s for the Frisian furniture factory Zijlstra Joure in Holland.

The chairs have new red Manchester rib furniture-fabric (100% cotton) and filling.
Furniture wax is rubbed on the wood.
All done by a professional company specialized in re-upholstering MCM furniture.

This is done as a tribute to the lovely mother of my good friend .. the chairs has been used by her and her family living in Joure .. where the chairs were purchased at the time straight from the factory Zijlstra.

In this set are also 2 Biedermeier chairs reupholstered in the same red fabric. The Biedermeier chairs are beautiful antique chairs, the Biedermeier period ran from about 1815 to 1860 and originated in Germany.

The set is a real eyecatcher and complete for a large dinner table in your house.
